Nemo!

Yesterday was Halloween, its an American event when they celebrate ghosts and spirits, much like our Chinese 7th-month. On this day, adults and children dress up, some as ghosts, vampires, witches, etc, others opt for cuter characters, eg. spiderman, superman and so on. Kids go treat-or-trick door-to-door and ask for candy.

Of course, as Christians, we do not celebrate Halloween. We believe there are spirits around, but we do not worship or idolise them.

We had a hot pot at our church last nite where cell group members gather for a time of fellowship. Some adults were dressed up (our Pastor was dressed up as Sherlock Holmes and a lady as Tinkerbell) and of course the kids were dressed up too, all very safe choices though, all in the name of fun.

Ethan was dressed up as Nemo, he absolutely adored his costume and was so excited to see himself in it. As parents, we went along with his theme, and dressed in the same colors too. Here's some pics. Videos will follow later.
