Daddy's Away

Louison left to go Japan on business on Sunday, so Ethan and I were left to our own device.

We stayed home on Monday which was a bad choice, cos Ethan kept bugging me the whole day to play with him. I guess he sensed that Daddy was away, so I was the only one who could keep him company. I resolved to take him out everyday to keep him from boredom. Besides, we are getting very good spring weather now.

So on Tuesday, I took him to this animal park called Living Treasures Animal Park which was about half an hours' drive from our home. We went with a friend from church who had a girl, Jasmine, who is about Ethan's age. It was an appropriate time to go cos Ethan was learning about animals from all those books that we've been reading, so it was great that he could see them in life-size now.

The park was also nicer than a zoo cos you could really see the animals close-up. There was a petting and feeding area where you could buy a bucket of animal feed for 4 bucks and feed the animals yourself, mainly the goats, chickens, ducks and horses. Ethan was gungho enough to feed the animals and was giggling from the tickling of their tongues on his small fingers. Both of us then went on a camel ride. It was quite a fun though a little awkward experience.

We had such a nice time. We'll bring Daddy with us the next time we come, ok Ethan?
